Towards Future Regenerative Therapies
TERMIS-EU 2016 Conference, Uppsala, Sweden
Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine International Society, abbreviated TERMIS, brings together the international community of persons engaged or interested in the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. The society promotes educational and research activities within these areas through regular meetings, publications and other forms of communication.
More than 800 abstracts were submitted to the TERMIS-EU 2016 Congress held in Uppsala, Sweden, from 28th June to 1st July. With six plenary lectures by world leading researchers, 44 sessions with over 40 keynote lectures and 200 invited speakers, 250 oral presentations and 480 posters, it allows excellent ground for interaction. The programme is complemented with an extensive industrial exhibition, a number of workshops, including a Women in TERM symposium and a Grant Writing Workshop, as well as the recently founded Business Plan Competition, which aims to inspire entrepreneurial flair among students and young investigators.
Most importantly, the TERMIS-EU 2016 meeting brings you closer to key professionals to support your mutual understanding of the field, accelerate your research on the ground and ultimately enables us to contribute to the care of patients.
We look forward to an exciting and engaging meeting at which active participation by young and early-stage researchers is especially encouraged and promoted.
Best wishes,
