The TERMIS-EU conference is the leading event for the dissemination of the latest research in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, offering researchers, clinicians and industry an ideal opportunity to present and discuss their most recent findings, developments and challenges in the field.
The TERMIS-EU 2020 Chapter Meeting was scheduled to take place in Manchester, UK from May 26 – 29, 2020 with the theme of “Broadening the Targets and Approaches for Regenerative Medicine”.
However, due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and the restrictions regarding travel and event organisation, the Local Organizing Committee in conjunction with TERMIS decided to postpone the meeting. Unfortunately no suitable 2020 dates could be identified and as meetings in 2021 (World Congress in Maastricht, The Netherlands) and 2022 (EU Meeting in Krakow, Poland) have already been confirmed, the meeting will now take place in March 2023 at the Manchester Central Convention Complex in Manchester, UK.
Over 1,000 abstracts were accepted for presentation at the TERMIS-EU 2020 Chapter Meeting. Given the quality of the research submitted, the Local Organizing Committee and TERMIS have offered the registered abstract presenters the opportunity to have their abstracts published in European Cells and Materials (eCM) Periodical. This periodical presents 562 of the abstracts accepted for presentation at TERMIS-EU 2020 Manchester meeting.
We thank all our members, participants, abstract submitters and partners for their cooperation and kind understanding.
On behalf of Local Organizing Committee of the TERMIS-EU 2020 Chapter Meeting, we wish you, your family, friends and colleagues good health during this challenging period.
Warmest regards,
TERMIS-EU 2020 Local Organizing Committee |
