TCES Annual Meeting 2013 at Cardiff
The annual meeting of the TCES was held on the 23-25 July 2013 at Cardiff University and was hosted by the Cardiff Institute for Tissue Engineering and Repair (CITER). It was fitting that in its 10 anniversary year CITER hosted the TCES meeting. Over 140 delegates attended the meeting to engage with over 100 oral and poster presentations and 4 plenary lectures from Professor Jamie Davies (Edinburgh), Professor Paola Borri (Cardiff University), Professor Jeremy Mao (Columbia University, NY, USA) and Professor Bing Song (Cardiff University).
This supplement highlights the research presented at the meeting and the diversity of the topics covered. As always, this meeting gives the opportunity for PhD students and early career researchers to present their work and we are grateful to all those who submitted abstract’s, attended the meeting and engaged enthusiastically with the research during the 3 days. Finally we would like to thank the sponsors for their continued support of the TCES annual meeting.
