The Cell-Biomaterial Interaction
June 25th-28th 2001 Davos, Switzerland
Welcome
This meeting seeks to build on and extend the groundwork prepared by the First European Cells and Materials Meeting which was on Bone and soft tissue biomaterial interactions held in Davos in 1999, by exploring the latest developments and research findings in the area of the Cell-Biomaterial Interactions. The emphasis of the meeting again will be to have an in depth multi disciplinary set of discussions with biologists, chemists, materials scientists and clinicians on latest research and developments in the field.
We intend to hold this general topic meeting every 2 years with special shorter duration meetings on a single subject in the interim period. The special single subject meeting in 2002 will be on the topic of cartilage with both scientific and clinical aspects.
Enjoy the meeting and the lovely surroundings of this beautiful
alpine resort.
